About me

I am Brano Rokvić, and this is presentation of my photos.

To make this story short: After more than 40 years of dealing with computers, as programmer, analyst, manager, I decided to dedicate more time to my passion, photography. I have knowledge, I have good equipment, and I have enough time to do that; This site will show results …

I worked and lived in some of the most beautiful cities around the world. I was part of some wonderful events, and I met some wonderful people too.

I live between Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Colorado Springs, Colorado.

As I witnessed evolution of computers, I also witnessed evolution of photo equipment and technology. My first camera was Zorki-6 (made in USSR), a long time ago (1961). Since then Practica (GDR), Yashica, some Polaroids, a couple of Minoltas (X-700 is still on my shelf). First Digital was Canon D3, but definitive switch to digital was with Nikon D70S, and since then, my camera is always Nikon.

Besides sport and photography, I love fishing, woodworking, music …

At the end, some quote:

“The quickest way to make money at photography is to sell your camera.” (Anonymous)
